OGDENSBURG – The North Country Wine, Beer & Food Festival 2011 is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 13 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, Aug. 14 noon to 5 p.m. at the Lockwood Civic Center.

Visitors may sample a variety of wines from New York State Vineyards and Wineries, craft brewed beers brewed in the North Country, cheeses, nuts, herbs, spices, rubs, fresh vegetables, honey, maple products, handcrafted chocolates, fresh roasted coffees, locally raised meats, fresh baked goods and sauces.

This year, each day will feature cooking demonstrations from Paul Smith's Culinary School and Northwest Tech's Culinary Program.

Many local artisans will display their handcrafted works at the arena.

Outside, grilled burgers & fries, Texas style barbecue, cheesecake on a stick and ice cream will be available.
