NORFOLK — The Norfolk-Norwood Figure Skating Club will hold its 12th annual Skate for Heather’s Hope on Dec. 3 at the Dominic Zappia Community Center on Clinton Street. This event is held in memory of Heather Emlaw Planty. Doors open at 12:30 p.m.; skating starts at 2 p.m.
Proceeds go to Gouverneur Breast Cancer Fund, to assist men and women fighting breast cancer in St. Lawrence, Franklin, Jefferson and Lewis counties. Watch local skaters demonstrate their skating abilities. 50/50, raffle baskets, hot food, and bake sale. No admission cost, donations accepted at the door.
