MASSENA – The Nicandri Nature Center will host a series of all day Environmental Education Week programs and day camps from April 23-27.
Day camps will be offered from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. for ages 6-12.
Each day features hands-on activities focused on environmental awareness.
Attendees will track where their food comes from, look for signs of erosion, do found art projects and other activities.
A 2 p.m. “upcycled” craft project, and a 3:30 p.m. “get outside” program will be held each day.
The week also features giveaways to help reduce the use of disposable plastics.
