OGDENSBURG -- A new women's clothing store, Maurices, opened in the Gateway Plaza, Ford Street Extension, Wednesday.
The store is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. seven days per week. Maurice sells a variety of women's clothing ranging from sizes 1 to 24.
The store is currently hiring sales associates, according to online job postings.
Maurices is owned by Ascena Retail Group, Inc. and occupies the former Fashion Bug space.
Fashion Bug closed last summer when Ascena purchased Fashion Bug's parent company Charming Shoppes in an $890 million deal, according to Businessweek.com.
Maurices operates more than 850 stores across the United States and Canada.
