OGDENSBURG -- Georgia fisherman, writer and photographer Bill Vanderford, was hosted on a visit to St. Lawrence County by FISHCAP, the initiative working to lure anglers to the St. Lawrence River Valley.
Vanderford is a member of the National Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame. While in the county Vanderford fished with local guide and outdoor writer Mike Seymour, and participated in goose and pheasant hunts at Jonesey’s Riverside Ranch on Rt. 37, Ogdensburg.
Vanderford enjoyed a gourmet meal and overnight stay at nearby Off the Hook Bed and Breakfast.
