CANTON -- Three musical acts joined forces recently at Canton’s Best Western University Inn to help raise more than $1,200 for TAUNY.
The jazz group Miles to Go, rock and roll band The Noncommittals, and DJ Tapatio, aka David Sommerstein, played from 7 p.m. to midnight, while volunteers ran a 50/50 raffle. The winner of the raffle donated her winnings back to TAUNY.
“Thank you to everyone who came out to listen, to dance, and to support TAUNY,” says Director of Development Laura Desmond. “We’re grateful to all the members of Miles to Go and The Noncommittals, and to DJ Tapatio, aka David Sommerstein, for donating their time and talent, and to the Best Western University Inn for hosting the event.”
Individuals who want to donate to TAUNY can do so at tauny.org.
