Motorcycles are designed and manufactured to meet certain governmental regulations and specifications relative to reasonable noise levels. The only noisy motorcycles are those that the owners have modified the exhaust systems in one way or another so as to be louder so they (the driver) can get your attention it’s the rider’s way of saying, “hey, look at me and my beautiful bike.” While most of the motorcycles are beautiful machines and a pleasing site to the eyes, no one has to be annoyed by those that are noisy if the police agencies only enforced the noise level laws currently on the books. Noisy motorcycles have only become an issue in recent years as the enforcement of the already existent noise level laws have been relaxed.
