Pfc. Brendon Paquette of Morristown recently completed the Army's basic combat training and advanced individual training.
He will now start training with his new unit, 206th Military Police Company.
A recent ceremony marked his completion of the National Guard Recruit Sustainment Program, a preparatory training program that provides new recruits with training, lessons and skills in initial military training.
The soldiers will now embark on their traditional National Guard service to state and nation as part time “Citizen Soldiers,” according to a press release.
