NORFOLK -- The Summer Reading Program at the Norfolk Hepburn Library ended with a pizza party and lots of fun and games. More than 60 children participated this year.
Children and adults enjoyed the parachute games that Jaime Brothers and Rickie Zappia helped organize and execute. Face painting was done by Sheila Burns and Jessica Fulk. Carol and Emily Gauthier worked with the young adults, and Hazel Wagschal and Ethel Darabon enjoyed working with grades 1-4.
All week long children enjoyed reading, playing games, and visiting the park in Norfolk for a special StoryWalk. Then it was enjoying ice cream cones from Hazel’s Ice Cream shop and blowing bubbles.
Library Director Vicky Brothers wanted to thank all the helpers, staff, and the Friends group "for another great year."
