HOGANSBURG – The rain is forcing Mohawk International Raceway officials to cancel Friday night's season opener.
Fflooding of the infield has led officials to pull the plug a day early to allow track crews to pump the water away from the infield in an attempt to get to work for next Friday night's program.
Cedarview Golf will be on hand next week for a full show in all 5 divisions plus the Ironman Slick Track Enduro qualifier, the winner will get a guaranteed starting spot into this September's Ironman Slick Track Enduro.
The Number One Speed Equipment Sportsman Series Opener program, which was set for tonight will move to May 19 when the TUSA Mod Lite Series runs plus a full show in all divisions.
Driver autograph night is next Friday when fans will bring hero cards and t-shirts and have a chance to get up close with their favorite Mohawk International Raceway drivers.
