The group, along with other Clarkson trustee spouses, were in Potsdam and had a guided tour of the Clarkson Family exhibit at the museum.
Pictured here are Museum Archives and Research Assistant Erin Cheney, Bayard D. Clarkson Sr., and Museum Director Mimi Van Deusen, in front of the illustrated Clarkson Family Genealogy wall that is part of the exhibit.
It is the first time, to the knowledge of museum staff, that a member of the Clarkson family, who founded the town in 1803, has visited the museum.
The exhibit is open Tuesday to Friday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There is a suggested donation of $2.
For more information, call the museum at (315) 265-6910 or visit www.potsdampublicmuseum.org.
