MALONE -- State troopers say they arrested a Massena woman after she assaulted a physically disabled person in Malone.
Troopers on Sept. 19 say they charged Stephanie M. LaFleur, 49, with fourth-degree criminal mischief and first-degree endangering a physically disabled person.
Troopers said LaFleur allegedly struck the victim in the head and face multiple times with her hands.
She then forcibly removed a cell phone from another person’s hand in an attempt to stop them from calling police about the altercation, troopers said.
LaFleur was arraigned in Bombay Town Court and released with orders to re-appear in Malone Town Court on a later date, troopers said.
