MASSENA -- The Massena Town Council recently appointed a local man to fill a vacancy on the Town Museum’s Board of Directors.
The Council appointed Paul Rufa, 19 Chestnut St., Massena, to a five-year term on the board.
Rufa had previously served on the board a number of years ago.
He was appointed at the Town Council’s June 15 meeting.
At the close of regular business at that meeting, the Council went into executive session to discuss a contract negotiation.
When the discussion was finished, the Council returned to open session and appointed Rufa.
In addition to Rufa, the Museum Board is comprised of Joseph Macaulay, Bonnie Weitz, Joseph Savoca, David Talarico, Sally Yeddo and Ann Greene.
