MASSENA — Sewing and basket making classes, Lego Club, story times, teen clubs and Friday Afternoon at the Movies are among the January events at Massena Public Library.
A sewing class to make a keyhole scarf will be held Friday, Jan. 12, from 12:30-3:30 p.m. with Cathleen Hartson. Call the library to register.
A French wall basket making class with Ann French will be held Jan. 22 starting at 10 a.m. Cost is $45. Call the library to register.
Lego Club is available on Saturday, Jan. 6 and Jan. 27, for ages 6+ with caregivers from 11 a.m.-noon. Registration is required.
Roll for Initiative is Dungeons and Dragons For Teens & Tweens, a storytelling game that is acted out and teaches team building, is starting again. Call 315-769-9914 or e-mail lmarolf@ncls.org to register or request more information.
Tween book club for ages 10 - 13 will be held Mondays through January 22 from 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. Registration is required. “The Island of Dr. Libris” by Chris Grabenstein will be read.
Teen Anime Club for teens ages 13-18 meets Fridays from 3 - 5 p.m. Watch a short anime film. Contact Liz at ecurrier@ncls.org for more information.
Babies Music and Movement for children ages birth -2 years is held Mondays, January 8, 22, and 29, and Tuesday, Jan. 16. from 10:00- 10:30 a.m. Registration is not required
Family story time for children 2 years+ is on Thursdays in January from 10:00 - 10:30 a.m. Registration is not required.
Friday Afternoon at the Movies will be showing “The Blind : The True Story of the Robertson Family” on Friday, Jan. 19, at 1 p.m.
