MASSENA -- Massena police found more than 1,600 bundles of heroin after executing a warrant in connection with a recent assault on Bishop Street.
Massena police charged Megan N. LaFlesh, 19, and Gerald Dissottle Jr., 21, with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Both were arrested with assistance from New York State Police at 9:19 a.m. after Massena police searched the home and found the heroin stashed in a bedroom closet.
Police say the heroin was valued at more than $30,000
Massena Police said the incident is still under investigation and no further information can be released at this time.
