MASSENA -- Over 250 students in J.W. Leary Junior High School vocal and general music teacher Candise Taylor's classes are now enjoying the sounds of a new Yamaha Clavinova electronic keyboard during classes and rehearsals.
The digital piano was purchased over the summer thanks to a donation by Massena Music Friends.
Taylor says her old keyboard was 16 years old, had been repaired several times and still had numerous issues.
The new instrument will be used with two choruses, select singing groups and eight general music classes each week.
