MASSENA — A Massena resident allegedly fired a ghost gun in the village Saturday and was jailed on felony charges, according to local police.
Village police said they seized a .22 caliber ghost gun after 25-year old Corey M. Tisdale allegedly shot the gun in the village.
Tisdale was charged with first-degree criminal use of a firearm, second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, first-degree attempted assault, first-degree reckless endangerment, and tampering with physical evidence, all felonies, officers said.
He was also charged with second-degree menacing and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, officers said.
Tisdale was arraigned in Massena court and remanded to St. Lawrence County jail without bail, police said.
Massena police were reportedly assisted by St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies.
