MASSENA -- Assistant instructor and first-degree brown belt Andrew Harvey, Massena, was awarded the Taekwondo Student of the Year for 2013.
The award was given by Master Jonathan A. French, head instructor of Jeet Gi Taekwondo, Joshiki Self Defense and Founder/CEO of the Association of Martial Artists World Wide.
French said Harvey has shown through out the year complete respect to the instructors, fellow students, and the art of Taekwondo.
His positive attitude and talent makes him a role model to students and instructors alike, French said.
