MASSENA -- Massena Memorial Hospital’s September financial report is expected to show another month of bleeding cash, according to Town Councilman John Macaulay.
“It’s not good,” he said, adding that the MMH Board of Managers will make it public at their Monday meeting.
MMH ended August with a $322,904 net loss, which was made up with cash reserves. A year ago, they saw a $508,384 net gain.
Year-to-date, MMH has lost $2,968,612, which compares to a $1,363,079 loss for the same timeframe last year.
The MMH board meets Monday at 5 p.m. in the hospital’s second floor board room.
