MORRISTOWN -- Following in the footsteps of its popular art festival, Mare's Wares will host its first ever "music fest" at 2 p.m. Aug. 30.
The event includes performances from Ogdensburg artist Pat Duffy as well as the Paul Baldwin Blues Band from 4 to 6 p.m. and Annie in the Water from 6 to 9 p.m.
The cost will be $10 for ages 8 and up or $20 for a family.
The event will also feature wine tastings, barbecue, pottery and more.
Vendors will include Home Again Alpaca Farm, Completely Claudia, Tucker Spring Organics, Spicy Wench, Not Your Average Cookie, Botanical Arts, artist Paula Towne, lutier and inlay artist Tracy Cox, and quilter Melanie Kimbler-Lago.
Also The Nut Shop, Liz Halpen with hand turned wooden oil lamps and woodscapes, multi-media artist Scott Ouderkirk, jewelry by Karan Marie Cross, 'Lil River Fudge, and River Forge iron works.
Breezy Maple Farms will provide pony rides, and horse-drawn wagon rides will be available.
Mare’s is testing the waters for weekly or bi-weekly musical events, if the festival proves popular.
Mare's Wares is located at 3938 Route 37, Morristown.
