MASSENA -- Village police say a Massena man has been jailed after allegedly breaking into a home and stealing a television set.
Lucas K. Northrup, 18, of 2230 State Rte. 420, Massena is charged with second-degree burglary, petit larceny and possession of burglar’s tools, police said.
Officials with Massena Village Court say paperwork filed with their office accuses Northrup of breaking into Jeff Snyder’s home at an unspecified address in Massena sometime on Aug. 14 and stealing a 32-inch Sanyo TV.
He was charged with possession burglar’s tools for allegedly having a pair of black gloves and a handkerchief that he allegedly used to help him break into the home, according to court officials.
