STOCKHOLM – A man who lost control of his vehicle on Rt. 11B has been charged by state police with driving with a blood alcohol level of .20 percent.
Jarid M. Tetrault, 21, of Altona was westbound on 11B near River Hill Road Sunday when his vehicle went off the north side of the road into some trees.
Troopers say Tetrault was located at a nearby residence. He declined transport to Potsdam-Canton Hospital.
He was processed at the state police office in Canton, where he was tested and found to have a blood alcohol level of .20 percent, two and half times the legal limit of .08 percent, state police said.
Tetrault was charged with DWI and aggravated DWI, and was released with tickets returnable Feb. 2 in Town of Stockholm Court.
