POTSDAM – A Madrid man is being held in lieu of $2,000 bail after being charged with yelling obscenities and resisting arrest.
Gerardo D. Perez, 35, was heard at about 11 p.m. Sunday outside of McDuff’s on Market Street “yelling obscenities and acting disorderly,” according to Potsdam police.
“When patrols took Perez into custody he resisted arrest and refused to cooperate which also led to the harassment charges,” the police report said.
Perez was charged with two counts of second-degree harassment, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest.
He was sent to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility in lieu of $2,000 cash or $4,000 bail bond.
