The Northern Zone Association for Counselors and Development recently donated large duffle bags to the St. Lawrence County Department of Social Services Foster Care Program.
Approximately 150 St. Lawrence County children are in foster care, and NZACD hopes that these bags will help make the transition easier for foster children.
NZACD was created as a professional organization for the area's school and community counselors. Members are invited to meet throughout the year to learn new skills, share best practices and offer support to one another in a challenging and ever changing field.
