RENSSELAER FALLS — Local author Becky Duprey will be on hand for a free book signing of her publication “The Shoelace Mission” on Saturday, Nov. 25, at 10 a.m. at Applewood Orchards, 176 (180 for GPS) Johnson Rd.
The Shoelace Mission: A story of Asha and Donato is a heartwarming tale about an elf on a mission from Santa.
“Santa has a problem. So many children are falling off the Nice List and landing on the Naughty List. This leads to an adventure for two elves, Asha and Donato. But Asha can’t tie her shoelaces so she creates magic shoelaces and that’s where the adventure goes awry,” says the book synapsis.
The book will be available for purchase on the day of the event.
There will also be an ornament craft, s’mores kits, hot cocoa, and much more available for purchase.
