GOUVERNEUR -- Literacy of Northern New York will hold tutor training June 4, 8, 11 and 15 from 1 to 4 p.m. each day at Gouverneur Library.
Tutors will help an adult who struggles with literacy skills.
They will be paired with a student and meet in public places such as libraries for an hour or two each week.
Tutors must attend all sessions.
There is a $25 fee for the textbook or borrow one for free.
