LISBON – A Lisbon woman has been charged with witness tampering in a criminal case in town court.
Deborah E. Whitehill, 58, of Moran Road, has been charged with third-degree tampering with a witness and second-degree aggravated harassment.
The arrest stems from a complaint where Whitehill used text messages to threaten a witness, according to state police.
Whitehill was arraigned before Town of Potsdam Justice James Mason and remanded to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility in lieu of $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond.
