LISBON -- Lisbon Central senior Alyshia Murray will receive the Eric Ogden LaMere scholarship.
The $250 grant was established by LaMere's family to aid students pursuing a career in law enforcement. LaMere was a detective in Maryland who died on duty in 2007.
Murray plans on majoring in criminal justice at SUNY Canton. She completed the BOCES two-year criminal justice program.
She wants to become a K-9 officer.
