Aimee Caligiore bounced back from a tough opening round with a 84 on Sunday to finish tied for 19th overall, helping St. Lawrence University's women's golf team to a tie for sixth in the Vassar Tournament.
The Saints had a team total of 718, tying with NYU for sixth in the 11-team field. Amherst won the tournament with a 663 total followed by Middlebury at 667, Williams at 682 and Ithaca and host Vassar tied for fourth at 691.
Caligiore opened with a 91 on Saturday, but came back with one of the top 12 scores on Sunday with her 84. Melissa Snizek shot 85-93 for a 178 total and was tied for 26th, Maddie Moore had a ten-stroke improvement on Sunday, going 98-88 for a 186 total and was 35th while Julia DiGiovanni sot 92-95 for a 187 total and Kelly Hale 90-99 for a 189 total.
