Kelly D. Donnelly, 54, Waddington

WADDINGTON -- Kelly D. Donnelly, age 54, passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at Canton-Potsdam Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer.

A graveside service was held on Friday, March 22, 2024, in Louisville Community Cemetery at 11:00 a.m.

A Celebration of life will be held on Saturday March 23, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. at the American Legion Post No. 420 located on 23 Fenton Street in Waddington, NY.

The family has entrusted arrangements to the care and guidance of the Phillips Memorial Home, in Waddington.

Kelly is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Melody Ann Price; his son, Cole and wife, Nefatia of San Antonio, TX; a daughter, Joni Price and companion, Bob Goodreau of Brasher Falls, NY. Kelly is also survived by his loving grandchildren, Serenity Price, Bob Goodreau Jr, Lillian Donnelly, Paisley Goodreau; along with his siblings, Randy Donnelly of Soda Spring, NY; mother in-law, Joan Price and many nieces and nephews and his fur baby companions, “Benny” the dog and “George” the cat.

Kelly was born on July 28, 1969, to the late Lee “Charles” and Sharon (LaDue) Donnelly in Massena, New York. Kelly attended school in the area and married his loving bride Melody Ann Price on April 21, 2007, in Massena, NY.

Kelly enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting and fishing. He was a practical joker and loved to get a rise out of someone.

However, his biggest joy was his family and grandchildren. They were the light of his life. He was very proud of his children and all of their many accomplishments.

Those who were lucky enough to have known Kelly closely are certainly blessed to have him in their lives. He will be cherished for the good times and great friendships he had created throughout his life.

In addition to his parents, Kelly was predeceased by his brother, Tim Donnelly and a father in-law, John “Jack” Price.
