CANTON- The Friends of the Canton Free Library invite you to participate in their first-ever online auction fundraiser, “Jump to a New Chapter!”. The auction, hosted in partnership with GalaBid, will be open for online bidding from Sunday, May 5, 2024, through Saturday, May 11, 2024.
Auction items have been graciously donated by local businesses and Friends of the Library supporters. The auction features handcrafted items, works by local artisans, unique local opportunities and dining experiences, treats by sought-after skilled bakers and so much more!
All auction proceeds will be given to the Canton Free Library to help raise funds for library building improvements. The building improvements, which are already underway, will make the library even more family-friendly, accessible, and accommodating to the Canton community.
The auction can be found online at: https://app.galabid.com/newchapter . The auction is currently available for previewing but will remain closed to bids until May 5, 2024. Bidding will end on May 11, 2024. Participants will need to register with the website to place a bid. Monetary donations in lieu of bids on items are accepted and can be made through the auction site.
Winners of all physical auction items must make arrangements to have their purchases picked up at the library during regular business hours. Unfortunately, shipping/delivery is not available.
