RAYMONDVILLE -- In loving memory of Joan Irene Dumers Moulton:

Joan, a beloved homemaker, mother, and pillar of her community, passed away on March 2, 2024, in West Jordan, Utah.

She was born on October 18, 1940, in Raymondville, New York.

Joan's unwavering love for her family and her commitment to serving others defined her remarkable life.

Throughout her years, Joan's talents and passions shone brightly in everything she did. She was not only a skilled seamstress, but also a talented musician who could play various instruments with grace.

Her beautiful singing voice echoed through the hearts of those who had the pleasure of hearing it.

Joan's culinary skills were equally impressive; her bread, rolls, cakes, and pastry rings were always made with love and brought joy to many.

Joan's legacy of kindness and generosity extended beyond her family circle. Together with her husband, Bill, she dedicated her time to mentoring numerous children in their local 4-H organization.

In addition to their own children, they opened their hearts and home to foster nine at-risk children, providing them with love, support, and a sense of belonging.

She will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Joan is survived by her loving husband, William Claude Moulton; daughters, Lauri Jaquith (Bill) and Jody Blackhurst; sons, William G. Moulton (Luana), Jeffrey Moulton (Marietta), and Matthew Moulton (JaNae); 18 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Sherry Storms and brother, Robert Dumers.

In remembrance of Joan's remarkable life, a viewing will be held on March 9th from 8:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 7171 S 2700 W in West Jordan.

This will be followed by a Funeral Service at the same location from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

The Interment ceremony will take place at 11:30 a.m. at Redwood Memorial Cemetery located at 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah 84123.

Joan Moulton will forever remain in our hearts as a shining example of compassion, generosity, service, and love.
