CANTON – Last week's First Thursday for Kids program at TAUNY was postponed because of illness; the makeup class is Thursday, Feb. 10, from 3:45 to 5:15 p.m.
Iron sculptor Wayne Brown will help young artists create one-of-a-kind sculptures from antique, recycled iron such as agricultural tools and railroad spikes. Once designed, Brown will weld the sculptures at his workshop in Heuvelton; the final products will be ready for pick-up at TAUNY one week after the workshop.
The cost of the sculpture workshop is $15 for TAUNY members, $20 for non-members. Pre-registration is required.
