POTSDAM -- The SLC Arts Council is offering Insight Meditation with Roberta Paccione on Mondays, Oct. 25 through Nov. 15, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the Dance Studio (Room 230), Downtown Snell Hall.
Rooted in the Buddhist style of vipassana, this class delves into metta meditation, exploring the quality of loving kindness including the traits of friendship, non-violence, patience, receptivity, appreciation, generosity, and kindness.
In the spirit of gratitude and generosity embodied by this class, the fees for this class are donations which support the SLC Arts Council and its mission to improve the cultural lives of our community. Suggested donation is $30-60 for four weeks.
To register and pre-pay for classes, call 265-6860, visit www.slcartscouncil.org, or stop by the gift shop and gallery at 51 Market St.
