POTSDAM — New Horizons Bands of Northern NY is sponsoring a workshop on improvisation on Saturday, May 11 from 1-2:30 p.m. at New Hope Community Church. The workshop will be led by Tim Savage and is aimed at emerging musicians who want to build their skills in improvising in a variety of musical settings. Participants will bring an instrument (or voice) and learn to "go with the flow." Participation is $10, payable at the door. Pre-registration is required by emailing NewHorizonsNNY@gmail.com.
