CANTON -- The first Hogs for Humanity event raised a total of $4,457 in monetary donations and $2,000 in various raffle items.
One hundred motorcycles hit the road in support of St. Lawrence County neighborhood centers and food pantries Sept. 15.
The community development program located in Canton is the hub of the local neighborhood centers and also provides services such as Weatherization, Headstart and Personal Care.
The hogs for humanity committee that organized this event was grateful to supportive sponsors and riders.
