HEUVELTON -- The Heuvelton Teacher's Association recently raised $150 to fight juvenile diabetes through its Jeans Day event.
The association holds Jeans Day every month during the school year. Teachers donate $5 to wear jeans one Friday per month. Approximately 50 teachers participate.
All proceeds collected at the event benefited Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
