CANTON — A Heuvelton man was indicted on rape charges stemming from an alleged incident Feb. 5, according to St. Lawrence County District Attorney Gary Pasqua.
Arric Hunter, 46, was indicted for first-degree rape, the DA said.
“The defendant is alleged to have used forcible compulsion to have sexual intercourse with a minor in February of this year,” Pasqua said. “Previously filed accusatory instruments allege that the defendant was in possession of and used a knife during the commission of the charged crime.”
DA Pasqua thanked the New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation, New York State Police Forensic Identification Unit and other law enforcement agencies who provided assistance in the investigation.
