GOUVERNEUR — Two St. Lawrence County residents were charged with felony drug possession Monday night, according to state police.
Prentice H. Purvis, 60, Hermon, was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance: 10 grams of a stimulant, and criminal possession of a controlled substance: Narcotic, felonies.
He was also charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, officers said.
Joshua D. Martin, 45, DeKalb, was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance: 10 grams of a stimulant, and criminal possession of a controlled substance: Narcotic, felonies.
He was also cited for two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, police said.
Troopers did not report their arrest status as of posting.
