RENSSELAER FALLS – The Rensselaer Falls Volunteer Rescue Squad is hosting Camp Med, a community-based healthcare career exploration event for high school students, from 8 a.m.-3 p.m., July 15-18.
Local healthcare professionals from area agencies will provide insider’s view of what it takes to prepare for and work in specific career fields to 20 students entering 9-12 grade.
The camp will provide an opportunity to practice a variety of hands-on skills.
Those interested can apply online at northernahec.org/camp-med/.
The deadline to apply is June 24. The $35 registration payment deadline is July 1. Scholarships are available.
