OGDENSBURG -- Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center will host a Healthcare Careers Awareness Day at Ogdensburg Free Academy Tuesday, Oct. 24, from 8 a.m.-2:30 p.m. at the Golden Dome.
Tenth graders from Lisbon, Morristown, Heuvelton, and Ogdensburg are invited to attend this interactive and informational career fair.
The highlight of the event will be the Medical Center’s new da Vinci robot where students will be able to get a first-hand experience operating the robot, and an opportunity to name it through a contest.
Later that evening at 6 p.m. there will be a community event featuring the da Vinci robot at the Golden Dome, and the public is welcome to attend and test out the new robot.
