POTSDAM – The 1844 House, in partnership with North Country Grown Cooperative, will present a harvest dinner in celebration of local food on Wednesday, Oct. 13, with cocktails at 5 p.m. and dinner at 6 p.m.

Musical guest Jazz band Yellow Moon will supply the evening’s entertainment.

Chef Brian Walker will prepare a 6-course dinner showcasing the bounty of fresh produce, meats and cheeses produced right here in St. Lawrence County by our local farmers.

The cost is $75 per person inclusive of tax & gratuity ($37.50 per guest is a tax deductable donation).

1844 House is donating 50 percent of the proceeds from this dinner to help provide the funding for NCGC to purchase and maintain a new delivery vehicle.

North Country Grown Cooperative, Inc. is owned and operated by small-sale agricultural producers who supply locally grown or processed products.

For five years NCGC has offered easy access to the season’s best produce as well as year round meats, honey and maple syrup to colleges, restaurants and other regional institutions.

NCGC allows those who wish to use larger volumes of high quality local food to purchase from our community’s small-scale farms.
