HAMMOND – The fourth annual Hammond Presbyterian Church Community Fall Festival will be held Friday and Saturday, Sept. 30 and Oct. 1.
Friday events include a potluck dinner from 5:30 to 7 p.m. and a dessert cook-off from 8 to 8:30 p.m. Bring your favorite dessert to be judged.
On Saturday, the day will begin with 8 a.m. registration for the 5K Run/Walk.
From 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., families are invited to enjoy the inflatable jumper, pumpkin painting, draft horse wagon rides from noon to 3 p.m., a cake walk, apple cider making, centerpiece making, weaving and spinning, local crafters, raffles and a bake sale.
Music will be provided by the Rustic Riders from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Tribe Judah from 1:30 to 3 p.m. and the Jack Kelley Little Big Band from 3:30 to 5 p.m.
Admission is $1 and will benefit Hammond Food Pantry.
All donations to benefit: Hammond Food Pantry, Soldiers Angels/Adopt A Platoon, Minc: Ministry in the North Country, S.P.C.A., Habitat for Humanity, St. Lawrence County Hospice, CROP (Church World Services), AIDS Community Resource.
This year’s photography contest is “All God’s Critters.”
Photos can be brought to the church starting Sept. 26 and will be on display for People’s Choice judging on Sept. 30 & Oct. 1. Winners will be announced Oct. 1 at 3:30 p.m.
