The Greater Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce’s June BOCES Student of the Month is Jacob Tate, a senior from Hammond Central School.
Tate is a student in the BOCES Building Trades Program taught by Jeff Swift. “Jacob always puts forth a sincere effort in his work and completes his tasks to the required results with minimal re-work,” Swift said. “He is a self-starter, follows direction well and is a team player.”
Tate completed a very successful internship with a local contractor and plans on attending SUNY Canton in the fall in the HVAC program there.
He received a certificate from BOCES, a Chamber Dollars check and a plaque from the Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce.
