The plan put forth by Richard Grover, complete with a picture in Saturday’s North Country Now, is the best idea of any I have seen to address this old problem of traffic flow patterns in the village of Canton. It cleans up the contrary traffic pattern created by sudden lane reductions, coupled with people trying to make left turns out of Miner Street. Great idea! Now if the village board and DOT can get together, we may finally see some sense made of this traffic mess in downtown Canton. Oh, and we can add a business to boot. Let’s do it.
