FOWLER -- A Gouverneur man was ran over by a vehicle and killed Friday at 10:47 p.m. after he laid in front of a 2001 Toyota at 4127 State Highway 58, St. Lawrence County Sheriff's deputies said.
Deputies say James Gore,18, laid in front of a vehicle operated by Tyler Sargent, 18, while Sargent was leaving the residence.
Sargent, who did not see Gore, allegedly drove the vehicle over Gore, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Deputies are still investigating the incident, but no tickets have been issued.
Deputies say alcohol was not believed to be involved.
New York State Police and Gouverneur Fire and Rescue assisted at the scene.
