Evan Shampine, a 2020 graduate of Gouverneur Central School, has been named to the University of Buffalo undergraduate Dean's List for the 2021 fall semester.
This recognition honors students who achieve a 3.60 grade-point average in the named term.
He is the son of Ivan Shampine Jr. and Barbara Shampine and the grandson of Kathleen McIntosh and the late William McIntosh, the late Ivan Shampine Sr., and Gary Hays Sr. and Jacklyn Hays.
This is Evan's third semester at the University of Buffalo. His goal is to become a math professor.
