GOUVERNEUR -- Mayor Ron McDougall has been named to the New York State Conference of Mayors eight-member nominating committee.
The committee determined the slate of officers to be elected at NYCOM’s recent annual meeting in Saratoga Springs.
The conference, which was founded in 1910, represents 580 villages and cities in New York State.
“Mayor McDougall … is well-suited to serve on this important committee,” said NYCOM President Rick Milne, who is the Honeoye Falls mayor. “His commitment to quality public service in New York state will ensure that the Conference of Mayors leadership remains in good hands.”
