GOUVERNEUR – A Gouverneur man who allegedly left the scene of a personal injury accident Saturday received several charges Sunday from state police.
State police report one person was injured in the single-vehicle accident at 5:09 a.m. Saturday on the Van Buren Road near River Drive, Gouverneur.
Nicholas A. Knowlton, 22, was charged with second-degree obstruction of governmental administration, leaving the scene of accident without showing license or ID prior, imprudent speed and failing to notify DMV of address change.
He was issued appearance tickets for court at a later date.
