A two-person helicopter, donated by Richardson and Sons and pictured above, will drop golf balls over Father Martin Field, Paterson Street, Ogdensburg, at 1 p.m.
The ball closest to the pin will win $1,000. Second prize of $200 and third prize of $100 each will also be awarded.
Golf balls will be sold for $5 each and can be purchased from board members, the reception desk at St. Joseph’s Home and at Mort Backus & Sons.
Shown in the picture above is Dave Cole (left), a helicopter pilot and instructor, and Frank Richardson, owner of Richardson and Sons.
